  • African/Jackass PenguinsBoulders Coastal Park - a landscape of boulders, beaches, bush and birds set beside the clear waters of False Bay. Internationaly renowned for it's breeding colony of African Penguins, also called Jackass Penguins.

    Boulders Park is favoured as a breeding locality because of the sheltered form of the bay. The Park also provides ample shade for nesting birds and their chicks.

  • The Constantia Wine Route - Constantia is the birthplace of the wine farming industry in South Africa. As you drive through the beautiful historical valley it is no wonder the first Governor of the Cape, Simon van der Stel, chose this situation for his farm, Groot Constantia. Four of the only five farms which remain in the Constantia Valley today, were part of that original portion of prime land which was granted to him.

    The world famous wines from Constantia were sought after by royalty in the eighteenth century, and still to this day, world class wines are being produced and accoladed for it's escalating quality.

    Visitors can taste the fine wines and experience a unique journey through each of the five farms, which also hold top class South African Restaurants, namely; Constantia Uitsig, La Colombe, Buitenverwachting and Steenberg.

  • The Victoria and Alfred Waterfront - The V&A Waterfront enjoys more than 20 million visitors per annum and comprises several top shopping centres, restaurants, coffee-shops and taverns, several quality hotels, an aquarium, cinemas, museums, an Imax theatre, arts and crafts markets, office space and a luxury residential component. The entire development is situated in the heart of Cape Town's harbour area, with the shipping and fishing activities associated with any harbour, still very much a part of the development.

  • Kirstenbosch National Botanical GardenKirstenbosch National Botanical Garden - The National Botanical Garden of Kirstenbosch stretches along the eastern slopes of Table Mountain. Because of the different altitudes this area is suitable as a biotope for a great variety of the plants of southern Africa. More than 6000 plant species can be found in an area of 530 ha. A web of hiking trails facilitates wonderful walks through the indigenous fynbos vegetation. The best time to visit is in springtime during August and September, when the flowers are blooming.

    Very popular are the Sunset Summer Concerts in Kirstenbosch, which are usually held on Sundays at 17:30

  • Cape Peninsula National Park - The Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve forms part of the Cape Peninsula National Park, and is managed by the South African National Parks. Together with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the World Bank and Global Environment Facility, this area will be declared an International Heritage Site.
There are three promontories here at the end of the Cape Peninsula. The first is Cape Point itself. The next is Cape Maclear which lies to the west, separated from Cape Point by the sandy expanse of Dias Beach. The third promontory is the "Cape of Good Hope". Declared "the most famous promontory in the world."
